Russell Mora, Worst Boxing Referee, could not see low blows!




This was last year boxing match between Joseph Agbeko and Abner Mares.

As I was browsing thru Youtube today, I encountered once again this video of the fight between Joseph Agbeko and Abner Mares, I decided to re post it, not because the fight was entertaining or any good but because, I could not help it,  but feel disgusted by the way referee saw the fight!

Maybe the referee is blind, Russell Mora. Russel Mora is still active up to this day, perhaps he already had his eyes checked because he still got a job.


Courtesy of Showtime. In the 118 pound title fight between Abner Mares and Joseph Agbeko, Mares bangs Agbeko below the belt all night long. Referee Russell Mora is either the most incompetent official in the sport, or the most corrupt! Props to the Showtime sports team (Gus Johnson, Al Bernstein, Antonio Tarver and Jim Gray) for calling Mora out throughout the broadcast.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion.
