Boxing History: Marco Antonio Barrera fought Philippines Jesus Salud , December 1, 2000

For Filipino fans, perhaps not to many knew that Marco Antonio Barrera fought another good Pinoy boxer in the past, and it is not just Manny Pacquiao, 12 years ago Marco Antonio Barrera fought the Hawaiian Punch.... not Brian Viloria, it was the real Hawaiian Punch, Jesus Salud and coincidentally he is also a Filipino who reside in Hawaii.

Jesus Salud didn't turned out to be as famous as Manny Pacquiao or Brian Viloria but he is indeed one good fighter, garnering a total 63 -13 win loss record. (boxrec). And if you are wondering if we are related? hmmp?.. I don't really know, maybe, we both like boxing and  we got the same last name the only difference maybe is that I can't box .
