Comments and Highlights from the newest Ginebra Earl Scottie Thompson

Ginebra got a lot of reasons to be happy about during the PBA Rookie draft especially, they got a promising young player in Thompson.

Scottie Thompson an NCAA MVP was picked number 5 by his favorite coach who, unfortunately, is no longer on his favorite team the Hot Shots, nevertheless Scottie Thompson still feel blessed because he is now a part of the most popular team in the PBA. I think Scottie is in a very good position even if the point guard position of Ginebra is loaded. With the new system and a new coach, he might just get a big break especially since he is familiar with Tim Cone style of coaching.

Earl Scottie Thompson Interview:

"Alam natin na number one sila sa crowd saka sobrang sarap maglaro sa Ginebra," said the 6-foot-1 guard. "Sa veterans palang nila sobrang blessed na ako kasi alam kong ang dami kong matututunan sa kanila."

"Di ako napunta sa favorite team ko pero napunta ako sa favorite coach ko na matagal na si coach Tim Cone," he said. "Sobrang blessed ko din."
