It was recently reported that the Star Hotshots guard will have his contract done before the next PBA season. As per our source, Alex Mallari will most likely sign for a ginebra guard spot before the rookie draft while there's also one more player, Ian Sangalang in the same situation with an expiring contract. If this rumor pushes through, Ginebra Management should spare 1 to 2 players to be placed in their reserve list. On the other hand

Tim Cone bluntly said that he wants to get some players from his previous team Star Hotshots, if they will approve it. But since the star hotshots has no more rights in protecting Mallari for a possible transfer, Cone might as well take advantage of the situation to get players from Star. This is definitely one of the moves that will prepare the squad in embracing the triangle offense by acquiring players who knows the system to make it more easier for them to gel into whatever Coach Tim wants them to execute.

The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024.
