Why Adidas offered James Harden that huge $200 million deal?

James Harden got some reason to be celebrate

If James Harden secures $200 million deal with adidas, he will be 1 of top 5 highest endorsed NBA players in 2015, yes higher than LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and even his former teammate Kevin Durant.

James Harden won't have to worry about his future as Adidas basically gave him the world. Imagine getting $200 million dollars for the span of 13 years, just for wearing and endorsing adidas, that is about 15 million a year, better salary than most NBA players right now.

Adidas aggressive move is due to its lackluster performance in the market, Just this year they only have 4% of the US market shares and that is sad for a brand that have been heavily advertised and marketed. The US shoe market is still being dominated by Nike/ Jordan brand which has 58% shares.

Now that James Harden is officially an Adidas endorser, expect a lot of new Harden merchandise in the next couple of months.

Good luck to Adidas and we hope James Harden won't  be injured like Derrick Rose or it will be another disaster year.
