Carlo “The Douche Boy”Laurel may have lost his last fight but
he never lost the admiration and respect of the people toward him.
Last July 25 at Fontana resort in Pampanga Carlo “The Douche
Boy” Laurel went to distance against the number 1 contender in Flyweight
division; CJ De Tomas.
Currently the Douche Boy got a record of 3-3 .He lost his
first 2 fights but came back with 3 consecutive wins, all via submission.
The douche Boy is known for having such an amazing ground
game. In fact he had won several BJJ competitions and from what I have heard he
is one the best BJJ practitioners at the blue belt level in the country under Ronin Ju-jitsu.
Carlo had gone through different fights, from street
fighting to learning how to fight on the mat to fighting professionally inside
the cage!
He lost and won some but after learning about Carlo’s story,
I would say that all the fights he had won will win in the future will never equate
to the toughest fight of his life; The fight against cancer.
Few years back Carlo Laurel was diagnosed with stage 2 lymphoma. It’s never easy to fight a cancer especially
if its already at stage 2 but Douche boy won the fight as if he choked the
shit out of that lymphoma.
From street fighting to stage 2 cancer Carlo “ The Douche
Boy” has emerged as one of the best featherweight fighters in Asia’s longest running MMA promotion URCC.
