Many fans who want to see Floyd lose, don't want him to retire yet

Fans want to see him get beaten first. It is not a fitting ending for a fairy tale.

A lot of fans are guessing that Floyd Mayweather retirement is temporary, as we all know Manny Pacquiao is asking for a rematch and even after their dismal performance during their first fight, I bet that many people will still tune in to see the rematch, not because they want to witness the greatness of Floyd but because people want to see Floyd lose for the first time.

It doesn't need to be Manny Pacquiao, It can be anyone, but the story should not end with the villain winning. Yes, he is considered a villain. Floyd Mayweather isn't your typical boxer, and while he is blessed with the skills and the talents that can beat almost everyone in boxing today, his persona made him a villain in the eyes of many. Floyd Mayweather who epitomizes being a material man and a braggart overshadowed his more important traits that made him one of the best and the highest-earning fighter of today.

Hard work, dedication, these are the words that usually comes out  whenever you see him in training, and these are the real reasons why he is on top. It's true however that his motivation is money and it certainly motivated him well enough.

His last fight against Berto left the fans yet again, with another unsatisfactory feeling and fans just could not get that big exclamation point at the end of his career.  Maybe a better performance and another win against Manny Pacquiao would silence his critics.

However, We hope Floyd would stay retired because if he once again gets lured into fighting because of money, he might just end up beaten and his so-called  unbeaten record would mean nothing. Well, this is obviously what many people wants, and I am almost for certain that Floyd would not give anyone the satisfaction.

Sometimes villains win, and that is the end of the story.
