UGB MMA Championship Bantamweight challenger' s quest to success



Holding a black belt in the art of Taekwondo and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Uloomi Karim(5-3) was brought into MMA by his elder brothers and also coaches,  Ehtisham and Sultan.

Quickly becoming a force to be reckon with in Pakistan by becoming the VCL Bantamweight Champion , Uloomi made his way to Thailand and beat Siwa Theng at Chiang Mai Ring Wars, with that he earned the opportunity to fight for the UGB MMA Championship Bantamweight Championship belt against the Battle of Beats Muay Thai Champion Welmil Graves (2-0). Uloomi is representing Fight Fortress MMA and Legacy Gym Boracay, where he will be doing a training camp. Uloomi is representing Pakistan and is going to be the first Pakistani Fighter to win an international championship belt.

It will be an all-out war between Pakistan and the Philippines in Makati Coliseum Manila. UGB MMA Championship Vice-President,  Musa Conteh stated, ' This is a great step ahead for MMA in the Philippines, as these fighters get the opportunity to compete against foreigners at the shows. Also, the strategic partnership with the prestigious World Series Of Fighting Global Championship (WSOF - GC), would mean that these fighters would have a good reason to impress and put on a good show. '.
