What Anderson Varejao brings to the Golden State Warriors?

Once upon a time Anderson Varejao was a force to reckon with, especially inside the paint. In his good old days he was averaging double-double each night. but those days are over and the Varejao of today is just a figment of what he was.

Anderson for the Golden State Warriors is an insurance policy for the current big men of the Warriors.  Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli would probably still be the first and the backup not to mention that they have Draymond who can play even the center position.

Varejao may be needed down the stretch especially if they are competing for the championship again. We could see him contributing on random days were both centers are injured or not playing well.
