Deontay Wilder stops Chris Arreola to retain WBC Heavyweight title!





Deontay "Bronze Bomber" Wilder stops Chris Arreola in 8th round to retain his WBC Heavyweight world title in Legacy Arena, Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Deontay Wilder improved to 37-0 (36 KOs) with a stoppage of Chris Arreola (36-5, 31 KOs)

Deontay Wilder stops Arreola despite of injured hand. Arreola was down in round four but after four round Wilder only throws left jabs and hooks but he still dominated Arreola. 

Deontay Wilder was sharp in the fight that caused Arreola's both eyes swollen and was cut over his nose. Arreola's corner withdrew their fighter after the 8th round to avoid more damages. 

After the fight, he said he wanted to unify the division and would welcome fights with any of the titleholders and potential titleholders -- Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury or Wladimir Klitschko.
