Is this the right time for Ginebra to end the drought?

8 years since they tasted a championship, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is now having their best start in a conference and looking good to at least have a chance of playing for the crown.

With their 5-2 slate, they are tied with Mahindra for the 2nd place, just behind TNT (6-0).

The reason behind their good start is their import Justin Brownlee and their consistent performers like, Sol Mercado, LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar.

Also helping the team is their All star rookie, Earl Scottie Thompson who are currently 2nd in rebounding this conference for locals.

Do you think they can end the drought? For me, Yes. This is the right time for it. They have the right pieces and they are having a good chemistry already. And a championship will be a fitting end for JJ Helterbrand PBA career.
