Neil John Tabanao to face Isaac Dogboe on August 26th






Last month Isaac Dogboe posted on his social media account that he will face Filipino Eden Sonsona but it turns out that the negotiation failed and he will face another Filipino named Neil John Tabanao.

Reigning WBO Oriental featherweight champion Filipino Neil John Tabanao (13-1,9KOs) is set to face undefeated Isaac Dogboe (14-0,9KOs) of Accra Ghana for the WBO Africa,vacant WBC Youth World featherweight title and WBO Asia Pacific featherweight title at Police Officer’s Social and Fitness Centre in Accra, Ghana on August 26th.

22 year-old Tabanao is fresh from his 3rd round stoppage upset win over Olympian Ibrahim Balla of Australia on  June 11 in Victoria, Australia and now is lookintg for another big win to claim three different titles against Dogboe.

In the other hand Isaac Dogboe who is now residing in LA California is undefeated and he is the current and defending WBO Africa Featherweight title, His last fight was a 6th round stoppage win against Edward Kekembo (10-0). He will try to unify his WBO Africa title with WBC Youth World featherweight title and WBO Asia Pacific featherweight title when he face Tabanao on August 26.
