The Blur is unstoppable!

Jayson Castro has been unstoppable so far in the 2016 PBA Governor's Cup. The Blur is averaging close to 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists per game. Looking at the stats, those were impressive numbers. But that is not the only thing that we should think off. We should also look at the standings of his team. Talk n' Text Katropa is still unscathed as they have 5 wins and no loss. This only shows that he plays efficiently; not forcing his shots and doing his best to win.

Many fans have already expressed their appreciation to Castro. Some said that he deserves to win this season's MVP award. But if you ask me if I think the same, I would say that Castro has a great chance of getting it. He dominates his position really well. However, there are other contenders for the award like Junemar Fajardo and Calvin Abueva. These guys are also having a great season.

But thinking of the development of Jayson, he really has improved a lot. He has developed a consistent shot beyond the arc. He can also slash and run the fast break thanks to his speed. Shooting over opponents ain't hard for him as he already proved it not only in the PBA but also in his national team stint. Bigger guys were competing there, but Castro's performance and impact to the team is still relentless.

Castro can also create plays for his teammates and has a presence of mind on the court. He knows when to take over and when to pass. Not only is he the best point guard in the PBA, but also in the entire Asian continent.

He is a player determined to win. He got the skills and talent to do it and he's going to dominate the league for even more years. Castro is one of the players that brought Philippine basketball back to the world stage. Together with his teammates in Gilas Pilipinas, they defied the South Koreans in the semis of the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship in Manila. That served as our ticket to the FIBA World Cup in Spain. Those were times that filled our hearts with love, support, and passion for the nation. Let's give a big thank you to them!

People have already known this guy by heart. They are amazed that he continues to be humble despite all the praises given to him. Fans even described him as a player that continues to improve. Truly, he is one of the modern heroes of Philippine basketball; a man who fights like a warrior when he steps on the court. Let's continue to support him in his amazing basketball career.
