WBA World championship double header in Japan on August 31!




Japanese boxing fans will see two Japanese defending their  WBA world titles on August 31st that will be held at Ota General-Gymnasium in Tokyo Japan.

In the main event Kohei Kono (32-8-1,13KOs) who is popular in Japan for being a look alike of Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will defend his WBA world "regular" superflyweight title against the interim champion Luis "El Nica" Concepcion (34-4,24) of Panama. Both men are known for their all out boxing style the fans are expecting war between the two boxers.


In the co main event two Japanese will battle for the WBA world "regular" lightweight title. They are the champion Ryoichi Taguchi (24-2-1,11KOs) and the challenger Ryo Miyazaki (24-1-3,15KOs).
Taguchi. This match up where two Japanese are fighting against each other for the world title is a normal thing to Japan unlike other Asian countries they tend to fight other race for a world title.
