Tim Cone is thankful for Helterbrand and Caguioa's rescue. "They pretty much saved our series."

Coach Tim Cone admitted that he had no idea what to do and had a lousy coaching night but is so thankful that his two veterans also known as the Fast and the Furious tandem went out there and helped them get the win to even out the series.

Ginebra could not sustain their intensity entering the second half after a very good performance in the 1st and 2nd quarter of game 4. Jayjay Helterbrand and Mark Caguioa entered the hard court under two minutes left in 3rd quarter with a huge deficit caused by a run of Meralco. Tim Cone decided to let his back court tandem to continue playing to somehow catch up with how the Bolts are playing.

"That was a story book game, having Jay and Mark out there and do their game it was amazing, we were swinging in the wind I dont know, we were just doing nothing." The Barangay Ginebra coach said.

"They are great players they made up for a lousy coaching they came out and did really great things."

"Pretty much saved our series." Cone explains how relieving it is to see his two veterans to come out of the bench and help them get the win that they needed for the series after being down in the series by one before heading to the 4th game of the finals.

Now the Ginebra coaching staff will try to look for more minutes for Helterbrand because of his huge performance that turned the table for them in getting their 2nd win. "This has been Jay's first meaningful minutes and he's got skills as we all know, he's an MVP he knows how to play these big moments and we gotta take a look and try to maybe find some more minutes for him as we progress with the series."
