Wiggins, Parker and Embiid are Certainly Worth The Wait

Wiggins, Parker and Embiid These players are worth the wait

There were high expectations when Wiggins, Parker and Embiid were drafted in the top 3 of the 2014 NBA draft. In the early years, we thought they will end up a bust.

But young players Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid all made strong cases to be there in the end.

Wiggins got the sign and went on to capture Rookie of the Year recognition with the Timberwolves after Cleveland chose to throw him away to the wolves. He is now consistently performing alongside other young and up and coming basketball stars.

Parker, the second pick by Milwaukee, missed the bulk of his rookie season after tearing his ACL but he turned it around and is now a critical part of the Bucks system and one of the main players.

Embiid, chosen third by Philadelphia, missed two full seasons with foot problems and  just when all the hopes are gone he rose to the occasion and is now prime for big time. He is showing us why he was top 3 of the draft with his arsenal of skills. We should just trust the process.

All three are finally playing in the NBA at the same time and validating their place at the top of the draft. Wiggins is averaging more than 25 points and leading the NBA in three-point accuracy. Parker is scoring 20 per game and, like Wiggins, diversifying his game. And Embiid has hit the ground running as a game-changing big man with big potential.
