After the departure of Kevin Durant from the OKC Thunders, Russel Westbrook was left with big tasks and a large void that Durant usually takes up.

Westbrook did not need time to adapt and immediately filled a lot of gaps and the team were able to maintain the top seed in the west.  Currently, Russell Westbrook  is in pursuit of a triple-double average that provides a perfect opportunity to revisit the remarkable career of Oscar Robertson, the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for a season. Robertson set the standard for all-around greatness in the 1960s and paved the way for big point guards such as Magic Johnson and Penny Hardaway. With his versatility, Oscar was ahead of his time.
