The Philadelphia 76ers finally realized that their 2013 overall number 6 draft pick is not the player that they expected him to be. After 3 years and with close to 10 average points per game and whole lot of injury issues, the Sixers have finally decided to move on.
Nerlens Noel is still a young guy at 22 years old and I personally think that he has not reached his full potential yet, not only because he is limited with injuries but because of the emergence of other big players in Philadelphia. With Joel Embiid who I think will also be problematic, Noel's minutes have gone down to just 19 minutes per game.
The Mavericks sees some light in Noel and traded for him in exchange for Andrew Bogut and a first-round draft pick.
Is this a good move for the Mavs?
