Arthur Villanueva with his team arrive in Leicester ahead of Zolani Tete Clash

World boxing contender Arthur Villanueva with ALA gym coaches Edito Villamor and Robert Eturma arrive at Hardcore Hotel in Leicester ahead of WBO Bantamweight world title eliminator against Zolani Tete of South Africa April 22 at Leicester Arena in Leicestershire UK.

"King" Arthur Villanueva (30-1,16) is coming off an impressive second round knockout win against Mexican Juan Jimenez on their rematch in September 2016. Villanueva's first attempt to become a world champion was when he fought for the vacant IBF World Super flyweight title against Puerto Rican  Mcjoe Arroyo on July 2015 in El Paso Texas where the fight was stopped in 10th round due to Villanueva's cut in his right eye caused by a headbutt. All three judges gave the win to Arroyo by the score of 91-98 twice and 97-92. Many boxing experts saw the fight as controversial one.

Meanwhile Zolani "Last Born" Tete (24-3,20) is a former IBF World Super flyweight champion. He won the title by defeating former undefeated Japanese Teiru Kinoshita (19-0-1) by 12 rounds unanimous decision in Hyogo Japan in 2014. He defended the belt once against Paul Butler by KO but was forced to vacate the belt because he believes that the price is not right to defend the title in opponents territory

The winner of this fight will face the reigning WBO World Bantamweight champ another Filipino Marlon Tapales considering Tapales' win against Shohei Omori on their rematch on April 23 in Japan.
