Break Up Alert: "Carmelo Anthony would be better off somewhere else" - Phil Jackson

The Melo Era in New York is about to end and it will be an ugly one.

At his season-ending press conference, New York Knicks President Phil Jackson sorts through what went wrong for the team this year, and shares his thoughts on Carmelo Anthony, Jeff Hornacek, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Kristaps Porzingis, and more.

Knicks president Phil Jackson said he thinks Carmelo Anthony "would be better off somewhere else." "We have not able to win with him on the court," Jackson said. It's no secret that the Zen Master has been trying to get Melo out of New York, but it took until the offseason for him to go with a clear statement like this one. Earlier today, an ESPN report said Melo is "leaning strongly" to waiving his no-trade clause. He and his family loves NY, but he may have already played his last game as a Knick. This will be a major storyline this summer.
