TNT Advances to the Finals, 4 Statistical Reasons Why Ginebra Lost

Barangay Ginebra fans with head high and full hopes attended  the game 4 semi finals series against the Talk n Text Tropang Texters. 

Talk n Text needed just one more win to secure a date in the 2017 PBA Commisioners Cup Finals against SMB and they just did that tonight. 

The game stared Ginebra's way as they poured it in right away scoring 35 points just in the first quarter, signaling to their opponent that they will not go down today. 

In the second quarter, TNT replied right away with their own scoring onslaught that reversed the momentum of the game in favor of the Tropang Texters. Score ended at 66 -63. 

Ginebra fought in the 3rd quarter and kept within striking distance as both team tallied 29 points in the 3rd. It was the fourth quarter when Ginebra fell short scoring only 17 against 27 of TNT that spelled doom and ended their Commissioners Cup run. 

Jayson Castro led the way for Talk n Text with a whopping 38 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists performance. 

Statistical differences:

1. FG % for TNT: 52% against 41%
2. 3 PTS for TNT: 13 in 44% shooting
3. TNT Grabbed 8 more rebounds than Ginebra
4. Bench Points for TNT: 56 points against 23 of Ginebra
