A Good Mix: 24 Man Pool for FIBA Asia Cup

24 Man Pool for FIBA Asia Cup

Arguably Gilas Pilipinas is the next big Pinoy identity that is being followed in the Philippines right now, and with the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup just around the corner, the basketball crazy country is just as centered as ever in the development of our team.

2017 FIBA Asia Cup is formerly known as the FIBA Asia Championship will be held in Lebanon on  August 8 to 20, 2017. The tournament is basically is one of the Philippines sought after event, as this is the stage where we are able to compete with the best within the Asian region and really find out if we the team we are sending is ready for the world stage. 16 best Asian teams will play in this tournament.

The initial list of the Gilas Pilipinas roster bolster young players with the age limit of 30 years old but looks like they have added one that is over that age in Gabe Norwood who is now at 32.

Gabe is one of the most efficient and consistent as his game and his size matches that of international player standards, he can score and also was one of the most dependable defenders on most of his stint as a Gilas Player.
