Dacquel Retains OPBF Title in Japan!

Rene Dacquel is victorious in Japan once again after he outscored Hayato Kimura to retain his OPBF Superflyweight in Korakuen Hall Tokyo. Three judges gave scores of 116-112, 115-113,117-111 all in favor to champion.

Dacquel's 12 round unanimous decision win over Kimura is his third successive title defense in Japan since he won the title in 2016.

Dacquel improved his record to 20 wins with 6 knockouts,  1 draw and 6 losses and would also improve his world rating after the win while Kimura dropped to 26 win and 10 losses.

Philippines to Host SEA Trail Running Cup, Elevates Bid to Become Asian Trail Running Destination

  The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have. That’s why we are grateful to SEATRC for choosing our country as host,” she said.
