Ginebra's Greg Slaughter is Back, Plays vs Alaska in a Tune Up Game

PBA Governors Cup is around the corner and PBA teams are fine tuning their wares in preparation for the last conference of the year.

Alaska and Ginebra fell short last conference and both teams look like they are ready to spoil SMB grand slam run this year. Ginebra may finally put big man Greg Slaughter in the lineup.

Greg Slaughter is now 29 years old and while he is still in his prime many has questioned his ability to improve his game.  Greg is seen running on the video and looking the same as he was before.

Alaska won the tune up game with the score of 96-87.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion. He is riding a three-fight winning streak; his past two fights were broadcast on ProBox TV. Leo is ranked seventh by the WBA and 13th by the IBF.
