Lomachenko Ready To Fight Rigondeaux Next!



Boxingscene has reported that WBO Super featherweight world champion Vasly "Hi Tech" Lomachenko (8-1,6KOs) is ready and willing to fight WBA Super bantamweight world champion Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux (18-0-1,12KOs) in late 2017.

I've told my promoter for a long time that I want to fight him. When he first brought up the subject.... the very first time we started talking on Instagram or Twitter, that he wanted a fight with me - I called my manager right away and told him 'make this fight happen.' What else do I have to do? I don't know. But I'm ready to fight him, Lomachenko told BoxingScene.com.

Lomachenko is fighting at super featherweight division , two divsion higher than Rigondeaux division (super bantamweight). According to report Rigondeux is willing to move up at the Super featherweight division to fight Lomachenko.

Lomachenko of Ukraine is set to defend his title against Miguel Marriaga of Columbia on August 5th at Microsoft Theater in LA California while WBA has ordered Rigondeaux to face Moises Flores in a rematch.
