Garve Laneta and Allen Durham Scored More than half of Meralco Bolts Points
No Cliff Hodge, Baser Amer, and Mike Tolomia, no problem! Meralco Bolts is missing the services of his top guns but it wasn't an issue as the Bolts stayed within striking distance and was able to over power the surging Phoenix in the last quarter.
Phoenix is on a losing skid and had now suffered four losses in a row after winning its first two. Replacement import Brandon Brown scored the highest in the game with 38 points on a 15/25 shooting. Jeff Chan who is playing his first game with Phoenix also did well with 27 points on a 73% FG percentage. Phoenix actually ended up with a better shooting percentage with 53% compared to Meralco Bolts who had 46%.
The last quarter seemed to have been the difference as Meralco surged to 32 points while Phoenix was limited to just 20 points which resulted in a victory for the undermanned Meralco Bolts.
