Former 2-division IBF world champion Johnriel "Quadro Alas" Casimero (24-3,15KOs) will meet ALA Boxer and the current IBF Inter Continental Super Flyweight champion Jonas "Zorro" Sultan (13-3,9) in an IBF title eliminator fight in the undercard of  IBF light flyweight world champion Milan Melindo title unification fight with IBO light flyweight world champion Hekkie Budler of South Africa on September 16 at Water Front Hotel and Casino in Cebu City. The fight was announced by ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer at a press conference.

27, Casimero of Ormoc City, Leyte is a 2-weight class world champion. He won his first title by stopping Luis Alberto Lazarte in Buenos Aires Argtina in 2012. The fight went disastrous when Lazarte's countrymen started riot after Casimero stopped Lazarte in 11th round. Originally the fight was for the interim title, Casimero was elevated to full champion position after previous champion Ulises Solis suffered jaw injury. Casimero defended the title four times but then he was stripped due to failure to make the contract weight for light flyweight division (108 pounds). Casimero move up in Flyweight division and get another world title shot against Thai boxer Amnat Ruenroeng. He lost in his first fight with Ruenroeng in June 2016 but IBF had ordered rematch because of Ruenroeng's dirty tactics. Casimero stopped Ruenroeng in the fourth round of their rematch to claim the IBF flyweight world title in May 2015. Casimero defended the title once after he decided to move up in Super flyweight division (115 pounds). He is now current IBF number 3 in the division.

25, Jonas Sultan of Cebu City is the current IBF Inter-Continental Super flyweight champion. He acquired the title after scoring an upset win over home town boxer Makazolele Tete in South Africa. After that he made bigger statement in the the division after stopping former WBC world champion fellow Filipino Sonny Boy Jaro in the eight round on May 2017 in Anggono Rizal.

The winner will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF Super flyweight world title currently held by another Filipino Jerwin Ancajas who will come back possibly in October.
