Star Hotshots are steadily rising as they now sit atop of the 2017 PBA Governors Cup with 4 wins and no loss while Phoenix sits third to the last after suffering 5 straight losses.

Phoenix started the game trailing as Star Hotshots Hotshots started good right away and scoring 24 points against only 17 of Phoenix. From that point Star never looked back as the Fuel Masters could not find a way to stop the Star Horshots who reached the century mark at the end of the full regulation.

Star Hotshots shoots at 40% while Phoenix shoots at a measly 36%. The Hotshots also shot the lights out from beyond the arc sinking 12 three pointers with 40% shooting.

Phoenix import Brandon Brown had a good game with 33 points on a 50% shooting and also grabbed 23 rebounds but it wasn't enough to overcome the Hotshots who had 6 players in double figures scoring lead by import Malcolm Hill(20) and Paul Lee(18) compared with just two players.
