Best Player Baser Amer Credits Defense and Teamwork for the Win

Baser Amer was the hero against the resilient Blackwater Elite.

After one of his many scintillating performances, Baser Amer came out big last night against Blackwater Elite who threatened the team in the first half of the ball game.  The Elite surprised many as they push back the number one seed to the brink but Baser Amer came to rescue at the right place and the right time giving the Bolts a much-needed jolt late in the game, orchestrating a comeback clutch scoring after another especially from downtown.

Baser Amer ended being the best player of the game scoring 31 points with 4 3 pointers. After the game, he was interviewed but humble Baser Amer refused to get a sole credit for the win.

When asked how they were able to win. 

"It was teamwork and defense, and maybe experience" stated the 24-year-old from Davao.  Baser emerged to be one of the superstars for Meralco and the former San Beda player is still on the rise.
