Pro-am and Student MMA Combatants will be in Action at FORZA UNDERGROUND


Forza and founder Gonzalo A. Roque IV is bringing the most exciting, unique and foamy sporting event in the world of combat sports today, FORZA UNDERGROUND! Witness students from different schools clash head to head and participating Pro-am fighters to provide awesome spectacle. This explosive night of fights is sponsored by San Miguel Oktoberfest, Toby's Sports and Vantage International which will take place at Ynares Sports Arena, Pasig on October 20, 7pm onwards.

On September 9, the first ever Open Workout in Philippine MMA history was conducted at Fitness Armory Timog, Quezon City. More than fifty fighters both student and Pro-am participated to showcase their striking, grappling, strength and speed inside the cage. For striking, mitts were used to test the athlete, and for their grappling and ground game the athlete’s were tasked to take down the trainer, and used a life size body punching bag to test their ground and pound. There were only twenty six fighters selected to throwdown at the October 20 fight night by judges Burn Soriano "the 15sec spinning backfist KO man" (ONE Championship bantamweight stalwart) and John Adajar (Universal Reality Combat Championship welterweight contender). Two Hitman MMA standouts.

The roster was announced yesterday on Forza Facebook page.



Forza is instrumental in promoting and advocating Mixed Martial Arts. This is an actual working model to encourage young fighters to train and get an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Aside from the competition, two of the best rock acts in the country Kjwan and Mayonnaise will also take the center stage.

Mark Striegl and Godwin Langbayan Headline the Biggest MMA Event on April 28

  The upcoming MMA Festival, organized by Kombat Sports Kalayaan (KSK) and set to take place on April 28 in Poblacion, Makati City, promises to be the largest event of its kind. It will shine a spotlight on MMA fighters like Fil-Am Mark Striegl and Godwin Langbayan. Striegl, a renowned Asian MMA superstar, sambist, model, and actor, will participate in the Grappling Super Fight event against BIJ Brown Belt competitor Paige Alitao. Philippines to Host SEA Trail Running Cup, Elevates Bid to Become Asian Trail Running Destination

  The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have.
