Derrick Rose Could Play for the Wizards

Derrick Rose Washington Wizards Jersey

The recently traded and waived Derrick Rose is finding himself in the middle of a crossroad that includes retirement. He is once again searching for answers and searching for new NBA home again.

Utah Jazz acquired Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder via trade that sent Rodney Hood to the then-struggling Cavs. A move that allowed the Cavaliers to get more fresh legs and young guys to immediately change the tempo and in preparation for the future and longer plans of the team.

For Utah Jazz, however, we still could not figure out what the move is about aside from maybe wanting to get more defensive-minded and all-around player in Jae Crowder. They also did not have any intention of playing Derrick Rose for obvious reasons although I would have loved to see Ricky Rubio and the former MVP on the floor together.

The initial rumors were Derrick Rose may play with the Timberwolves and unite with his former coach Tom Thibodeau, however things are working out in Minnesota that changing or adding may not be ideal.

While many teams are not convinced that Derrick Rose is no longer asset, considering his injuries and toughness, it looks however that Washington Wizards thinks otherwise as they may be showing interest in getting the former MVP.

Washington Wizards are interested in signing recently waived Derrick Rose, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

While we are waiting for what's next for Rose, let's watch the best of D Rose as a Cavs.
