Noynay and Garcia make weight ahead of their WBO Youth Asia Pacific title fight tomorrow night at Celestino Martinez Sr Sports and Cultural Complex in Bogo City, Cebu.

Tomorrow night, boxing fans at Bogo City will see their own boxer WBO Youth Asia Pacific Super featherweight champion Joe Noynay make his first title defense as he battles Mexican challenger Hector Garcia.

Joe "Jaw Breaker" Noynay (13-4-1,4) originally from Bogo City but training at Elorde gym in Parañaque City weighed in at exactly on the Super Featherweight limit of 130 pounds.

Hector Garcia (12-6-2,7) of Tijuana Baja California also hit the scale at 130 pounds.

  The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have.
