Flanagan-Verdejo Postponed due to Flanagan's Injury

WBO World Lightweight Title showdown between champion Terry "Turbo" Flanagan (33-0,13) of UK and former Olympian / mandatory challenger Felix "El Diamante" Flanagan (23-0,15) of Puerto Rico was postponed due to Flanagan's leg injury. 

Two undefeated boxers were supposed to fight in the undercard of  WBO Middleweight world champ Billy Joe Saunders title defense against Willie Monroe Jr on September 16 at Copper Box Arena in London.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) already requested for the medical evidence after they receive the confirmation of Flanagan's injury. The promoter of the fight will soon reschedule the fight and announce it to the public.
