Justin Bieber Wins MVP of NBA All-Star Celebrity Game (video)

NBA All-Star weekend is finally upon us, and just like every other year, we're kicking it off this year with easily the least skilled game of the weekend: the Celebrity Game.

There is one very good reason why this was such a bad game: Justin Bieber won MVP of the game. Now, while I don't have any Bieber fever like the rest of America, I can respect any athlete who rightfully earns an MVP award. The only problems here were, 1: Bieber's team lost 54-49, and 2: Bieber shot an atrocious 3-11 from the field to finish with 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds.

On what planet are those MVP caliber numbers? I also forgot to mention that in the very same game, Bieber got STUFFED by NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, who scored 17 points on 6-8 shooting in a winning effort. But of course, this did take place in Los Angeles, and right now, Bieber is obviously infinately more popular than ol' Scottie. So after striking out at the Grammys in LA last week, Bieber finally won some hardware, deserving of it or not.

Each team featured one "General Manager" who picked their team. The GMs here were Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel, and ESPN.com contributor Bill Simmons.
