Andray Blatche Signed $7.5 million deal with CBA Team, will He suit up for GILAS?

The former Brooklyn Nets Center and now a naturalized player of the Philippines, Andray Blatche, reportedly signed a $7.5 million long term deal with the Xinjian Flying Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association last March, is now set to arrive in the country this weekend and has given his commitment to help the squad secure that slot in the 2016 Rio Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Blatche will no longer be playing with Junemar Fajardo who recently stated that he has been dealing with plantar fasciitis on both feet which he has been suffering from in their recently won Championship, while Marc Pingris, with the willingness to representt the country will not be availble until august 12 as he will be flyin to France, but as set by the Gilas Management and coordinators, the pool should be completed on August 3 that will conclude that Marc will not make it to the pool due date. As of Marcio Lassiter, he will be having a long season break which will make him unavailable to play.

Blatche will again try to lift the National team for another historical journey in the basketball world, who decided not to go back to the NBA and just enjoy playing in China's basketball league and representing the Philippine flag in the world tournament. It is still a question if China will give full permission for Blatche to play and represent the Philippines in the 2015 FIBA Asia Men's Basketball in China on September 23, 2015 but looking at the willingness to play and represent, there is no doubt that Andray will exercise his rights or even sacrifice his own China Basketball Career to help out and represent the country in writing this new Philippine Basketball history.
