The Casimero-Ruenroeng rematch seems like almost a done deal and being eyed for May but still having some issues on the venue of the fight.
Last June 27, 2014 former IBF World light flyweight champion Filipino Jhonriel Casimero (21-3,13) falls to Thailand's Amnat Ruenroeng (17-0,5) in a foul marred IBF flyweight championship. The former Muay Thai fighter who turned into a boxing champion was still commiting his Muay Thai style to Casimero. We saw Amnat headbutt, holding too much and even take Casimero down like a MMA fighter. Ruenroeng was deducted a point by referee Larry Doggett on the late rounds but could be easily ruled as a DQ(Disqualification) win for Casimero. The original plan for these two fighter was Casimero moving up in Super flyweight to face IBF World Champion in the duvision McJoe Arroyo but because of his some promotional issues the fight was off. For Ruenroeng he plans to fight the Pound for Pound King Roman Chocolatito Gonzalez of Nicaragua for a title unification but Gonzalez' wants to go up in weight to become a 4 division world champion after his title defense against Mcjoe's twin brother Mcwilliams Arroyo of Puerto Rico on April 23rd.
