"Rich become richer". Playoff bound teams San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers had made their moves this week preparing for the playoffs. The Pacers signed struggling point guard Ty Lawson after being waived by the Rockets while the Spurs add some scoring punch off the bench after signing the recently waived veteran shooting guard Kevin Martin.

Ty Lawson who had a poor performance in his Rockets stint will be the reliever of George Hill off the bench. He is a great addition for the team considering that the Pacers are lacking some firepower off the bench. Lawson averages 13.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 469 games.

Meanwhile, Kevin Martin, a 12-year NBA veteran, has career averages of 17.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 30.5 minutes of action in 698 games. Martin will provide much needed depth at the shooting guard position for the San Antonio Spurs.
