The real reason why Conor McGregor pulled out from the Diaz fight - Fight with Mayweather jr.
The Fight between Floyd Mayweather jr and Conor McGregor would be as big as the Manny Pacquiao fight, maybe even bigger but i personally think it won't be as competitive. I think it will be another dance show featuring Running Floyd.  

 According to mirror.co.uk Floyd Mayweather apparently wants to step out of retirement to face MMA superstar Conor McGregor in the ring. 

 Rumors that both camps has been talking to each other for awhile and some actually thinks that the real reason why Conor pulled our of the fight was because of the opportunity to fight Mayweather whom he challenged  and declared that he would knockout, aside from a lot more money. 

 Once again Floyd Mayweather jr, has managed to get the attention of the world, the boxing community and now the MMA community. This circus fight apparently is already in the works and don't be surprise if the two fighters start tweeting to each other and talking more trash after all that is what both of them are good at. 
A source reportedly revealed to mirror.co.uk:

“It was agreed in principle on May 2, but Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until last night when he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor.”

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion.
