Knicks Add Frontcourt Depth, Signs Noah to Four-Year Deal and Form a Big Four of Noah, Rose, Anthony and Porzingis

Joakim Noah heads to New York. The Knicks and Noah agreed on terms of four-year, $74 million deal. Noah will be the third Bulls player to go in the Knicks this off season after the Knicks first acquire Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday from the Chicago Bulls for Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant last week.

Noad made it clear to the Bulls front office that he will not play for Chicago next season after falling out of the team's rotation with the crowded front court and resurgence of Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic.

After averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5,4 assists, 1,2 steals and 1.5 blocks in the 2013-2014 season, his best season in the NBA, Noah just averaged 4.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, .6 steals and a block in just 21.9 minutes per game this season with Hoiberg as their coach. Last season marks his lowest minutes logged in per game since his rookie season.

Noah will provide the much needed defense and hustle with the Knicks team and will be a great locker room leader.
