5. Larry Joe Bird

           Bird may not be an athletic and elite player but he excelled because of his court mentality and basketball knowledge. His tremendous shooting as well his good passing really helped him to be one of the greatest to ever played basketball. He prove that he can when he became the NBA MVP for 3-consecutive seasons (1984-1986). He played his entire career for the Boston Celtics and won 3 Championships and 2 Finals MVP.
