The game 4 of the 2016 PBA Governor's Cup Finals Series is all about the PBA veteran Jayjay Helterbrand.
Helterbrand who celebrated his 40th birthday on Friday, October 14th, took over the crucial minutes of the 4th quarter for the Ginebra San Miguel. Jayjay Helterbrand shot three out of three 3-pt field goals and four out of four field goals overall. Helterbrand was the spark plug when the game seemed to be slipping away from Ginebra who lost the lead after their strong first half.
Coach Tim Cone was all praises not only for Jayjay Helterbrand but also for Mark Caguioa in his post-game press con. Coach Tim said that he was amazed of what Mark and Jay have shown in game 4. The duo who is commonly known as "The Fast and the Furious" according to Coach Tim Cone, looked like their younger selves during the last quarter of game 4.
Aguilar scored 19 points but left the game early as he suffered a mild sprain. While Joe Devance who scored the fadeaway that gave the Ginebra the lead at the last minute finished the game with 7 points. Jayjay Helterbrand scored 11 points and Caguioa finished with 8 points.
As Ginebra ties the PBA Finals Series 2-2 it seems like it is a best-of-three series.
Game 5 will be on Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
