Meralco Bolts gets their first ever finals appearance as a franchise with a huge production of their mainstay Cliff Hodge. After defeating the top seed TNT Katropa who's almost perfect in the elimination round in terms of win-loss record.

Jason Castro tried to live another day for his team as he scored 25 points but fell shortly after lacking of local players support, Also Ammons had  a bad night only having to score 10 points which made a difference in this game 4.

Cliff Hodge scored 32 points alongside Durham with 19 points with the help of two more locals who scored in double figures in Newsome and Hugnatan with 15 and 16 points respectively. It is the first time for Meralco to appear in a finals series and if San Miguel Beermen qualifies for the next round, SMB will have an edge when it comes to experience and if Ginebra wins the series on the other side of the bracket, it will be hard to have a conclusion on which team will win the title with Ginebra out of the finals phase for the longest time and Meralco's first appearance in the finals, it will be tough to judge who brings home the bacon. It will be a historical series though.

Best Player of the Game : Cliff Hodge 32 points.
