Batang Pier Bowed Down to the Kings in this Edition of the Brownlee Show!

And we welcome you again to another edition of the Brownlee show!

Tonight's episode, Justin Shows you his stamina and efficiency by playing 42 minutes on the floor and scoring a total of 39 points on a 13/20 (65%) field goal percentage. This man is a machine as he carried Ginebra to another victory helping his team advance to the semis in which they will face the winner of the Meralco vs TNT series.

The special guest of tonight's show was jumping Japeth Aguilar who dunked his way to a 21 point production, he was joined by Scottie Thompson who had another double-double performance scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.  Ginebra was all action tonight!

Meanwhile, Global Port scared the bejesus out of us as they showcased a horror story tonight featuring their horrific shooting percentage of 35%. Terrence Romeo led the way with 22 points on a 33% FG, followed by his partner Stanley Pringle who got 16 points on a 38% FG shooting. Their import  Harper joined the horror story scoring 29 points behind a 12/33 shooting ending their conference rally on a bad note.

The battle between the two teams was a gimme as the Batang Pier showed little to no sign of resurgence the whole game.

Sidenote: Romeo and Tenorio had an altercation late in the game that resulted to Romeo being ejected and the two coaches getting a technical foul.

The scores:

GINEBRA 96 - Brownlee 39, Aguilar 21, Tenorio 12, Thompson 11, Devance 4, Ferrer 3, Mariano 2, Ellis 2, Caguioa 2, Mercado 0, Marcelo 0, Helterbrand 0.

GLOBALPORT 85 - Harper 29, Romeo 22, Pringle 16, Anthony 5, Cortez 5, Guinto 3, Ababou 3, Mamaril 2, Maierhofer 0, Grey 0, Pessumal 0, Pennisi 0.

Quarterscores: 26-19, 46-33, 76-56, 96-85.

Will Lonzo Ball Ever Develop His Offensive Game?

In the Lakers' game against the Miami Heat, there were two plays that caught my attention. One was that outlet pass by LeBron James to an open Lonzo Ball who was open for a layup. No one was even close to defending Lonzo at the point and he chose to softly lay it in which […] MoreThe post Will Lonzo Ball Ever Develop His Offensive Game? appeared first on Powcast Sports.

Terrence Romeo to SMB: The Pros and Cons

It's already expected that Terrence Romeo would be playing for another team but it's not the team that everyone thought it will be. Potentially. Why potentially? As of writing, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial has said that the PBA's four-man trade committee led by Erik Castro, the PBA technical supervisor, is still evaluating the trade proposal […] MoreThe post Terrence Romeo to SMB: The Pros and Cons appeared first on Powcast Sports.
