If you ask me, Derrick Rose in his prime is better than Kyrie Irving today, however, it isn't exactly the situation. Rose who is a former MVP who had gone through a lot of injuries and this makes him a less viable and a high-risk player.
Since Kyrie wants to leave Cleveland, LeBron James and the gang will now be left behind scraping for a starting point guard and with Derrick Rose still unsigned, he has now become an important piece for the Cavs.
