Will Japeth Aguilar Play vs Top Team NLEX?

High flying Japeth may not play for Ginebra this Saturday against NLEX


Aguilar is a Main stay for the Gilas Pilipinas Roster 

At the Calasiao Sports Complex on August 5, Saturday, two top teams will collide in an epic out of town battle between undefeated and surging NLEX Road Warriors against the defending Commissioners Cup Champion Ginebra.

It would be an exciting ball game that you should not miss out on as two teams needed to impose dominance and assert who is the better team this conference. Both teams need to be focused and complete. Unfortunately, this may not be the case for Ginebra though.

Tim Cone was asked if Japeth would be available for NLEX during the post game interview of the game against Kia last night and he was a bit unsure of his answer.

Tim Cone noted that he was not given any memo nor any advice and even joked around that he was the last person to know.


According to sources, Team Philippines will depart on Saturday for Lebanon ahead of the August 15 FIBA Asia Tournament.

Tim Cone, however, look calme and not worried at all as he has the luxury of having another big guy in the paint in Greg Slaughter.

NLEX vs Ginebra would be a test of how truly improved NLEX team had been. The Road Warriors is enjoying the view on top with an immaculate record of 4 wins and no losses.
