The Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo is just relentless in every game
He currently averages with terrifying numbers – 36.8 points per game, 10.3 Rebounds per game, and 5.3 assists per game. These numbers are humongous, particularly his scoring ability and efficiency every game.
Just how strong this guy is based on what he had shown this early phase of the season?
Being in the forward position, Giannis will be inevitably compared to the superstar LeBron James. But looking at today’s averages, LeBron is way behind Antetokounmpo with only 25 points in a game. LeBron James is the player who scores the most with consistency in the Cleveland team yet his performance is thwarted by this guy in the Bucks.
Let us take a look back when the Milwaukee Bucks faced the Cleveland Cavaliers this season where the Bucks lost at a huge gap 116-97. It was a huge difference. It was also the Bucks’first and only lost so far but the question is did the Cavs shut down Antetokounmpo during the game?
The answer is no.
Despite the huge gap, Giannis scored a monstrous 34 points compared to LeBron James – the highest in Cavs with only 24. The Cavs did not stop nor destroyed Antetokounmpo during that match, they just have had more offensive power like Kevin Love, Dwyane Wade, Jae Crowder and even Kyle Korver who made 5 triples during the game.
On the 28th of this month, they’ll face the Boston Celtics which the Bucks had beaten in their last match. Antetokounmpo scored a huge 37 points against the Celtics, which only had Jaylen Brown scoring less than half of the Greek Freak, 18 points. Kyrie Irving, being known as an offensive player failed to match the Greek Freak’s production, will this repeat again in their next game?
Even during games in the preseason where the Bucks lost, Giannis still remained unstoppable. His scoring is highly consistent and can be barely ceased by any team’s defense.
So how unstoppable is the Greek Freak? He is so unstoppable to the extent that even during his team’s losses, you’ll be victor over the team but you’ll still feel crushed when defending the rising superstar Giannis “the Greek Freak” Antetokounmpo.
