Awakened from the Nightmare: Celtics Back on Track

After a miserable path, the Boston Celtics avenged their unfortunate losses after beating the New York Knicks 110-89.

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum opened up the scoreboard for Boston with an electrifying slam. It was a close game until the 2-minute mark of the opening quarter when Celtics cracked up the lead up to 23-12 led by the fiery Jaylen Brown. Knicks fell into a very early skid in the 1st, Boston up 30-17 for the first 12 minutes.

Boston ain’t done yet as Tatum opened up the 2nd quarter with a three-pointer followed by an alley-oop dunk, Terry Rozier with the assist.
Boston’s lead got even swollen 54-33 at the half with Tatum and Brown leading Celtics in the offensive end.

It was all about the Boston Celtics throughout the game. All doors to victory were chained from the inside for the Knicks and they were left behind so far that they could not come back and their little efforts were insignificant to start runs and catch up.

Knicks only made 1 three-pointer, their outside shooting dropped at only 8.3 % whilst the Boston hit 14 of their shots. Aside from lack of effective team play, it is also evident that the individuals malfunctioned. Boston had 7 total blocks, forced turnovers and swishes the net with baskets in transitions.

Kyrie Irving and the rest of Boston Celtics overcame the tribulation but the New York Knicks, with a very crushing defeat, were left in the labyrinth of great despair and frustration.
