PBA out in the cold

The country's premier basketball league PBA will soon end its contract with solar sports and was hoping to choose between TV5 and ABS-CBN as coveror, but all of a sudden the country's biggest network pulls out of the running and left PBA out in the cold. looks like PBA lost its charm, and with no other choice than TV5 as their official broadcast network for its 37th season they would have to suffice with whatever TV5 has to offer. 

And so we thought that the PBA will gain more exposure and popularity by getting pick up by ABS-CBN. We were wrong because ABS-CBN would rather support foreign sports like NBA basketball, who would not? Its all about the money.(source)
