Blake Griffin could have been a great addition for Team USA in the upcoming FIBA World Cup in Spain, but this guy chose not to play for his country. According to news, Blake Griffin announced that he would instead dedicate his time in improving his game in preparation for the upcoming NBA season.
You can't blame the guy for not joining after all, there are still some great big man on the line up like DeMarcus Cousin and Anthony Davis, just to name a couple so it probably wont hurt that much.
His preparation could end up with frustration however, the NBA has yet not find a way to get rid of the racist owner of the Clippers and if they could not find a resolution to remove Donald Sterling, Coach Rivers and point guard Chris Paul might not play. Perhaps he is preparing for this situation.
