Thai Champion Wanheng Menayothin retains WBC 105 lbs. crown

Nakhon Ratchasima Thailand March 5th- Thailand's undefeated Wanheng Menayothin retains his WBC minimumweight world title with a TKO5 of elusive Japanese southpaw Go Odaira. Odaira was fast and elusive but Wanheng eventually caught him dropping him once in the third with a right hook and again in the fifth from a combination of punches, the ref waving it off immediately.Fine performance by Wanheng.

Odaira dropped his record to 12 wins with 1KO  5 defeats and 3 draw while the unbeaten Thai improved record to 40 Wins, 15 coming from KO with no defeat. Menayothin next target is the mandatory challenger Saul Juarez of Mexico.
